Gitlaxt’aamiks Village Government would like to invite citizens of New Aiyansh to review and provide comment on the Gitlaxt’aamiks Forest Development Plan 2021-2026.
This Forest Development Plan replaces FDP 2008-2021 and is consistent with legislative direction from the Nisga’a Forest Act, and other applicable resource plans and policies.
The FDP provides Nisga’a citizens, the general public, government resource agencies, and private interests with information on the location and scheduling of timber harvesting, road construction, road maintenance, road deactivation and other related activities on Lands within the Nisga’a Village of New Aiyansh for the next five years.
Copies of the FDP can be obtained at Gitlaxt’aamiks Village Government, alternatively, the FDP can be viewed at Gitlaxt’aamiks Village Government – Council Chambers as well.
